Installing Beta 4 requires uninstalling any previous Beta version (the installer prompts the user if required).
After installing the new release, the plug-in registers itself for GDS which initiates a full re-indexing. This is a Google requirement. If an additional language pack is installed, the plug-in re-registers and this also will initiate a full re-indexing (of files having extension registered by OmniPage Search Indexer plug-in).
After the new build is installed, and GDS starts invoking the plug-in, you will be prompted to register. The registration window will appear to everyone, even if you already registered a previous beta. To get an unlock key for this build, you must register again. A previous beta unlock key will not work correctly with Beta 3.
Please Note: If you downloaded Beta 4 and entered an old registration unlock key the old expiration date remains in effect. To solve this problem please download and run the following reset utility. The reset utility resets the OmniPage Search Indexer registration information, including expiration date, so a new registration window appears as soon as a new image or PDF file is to be indexed.
OmniPage Search Indexer operates with English documents (images and PDF files); if you have documents in other languages you can download and install corresponding Language Extension Packs. You may install as many Language Extension Packs as needed. To achieve the best accuracy, we recommend installing only Language Extension Packs needed for your documents. OmniPage Search Indexer automatically recognizes the language of a particular document based on the installed Language Extension Packs; therefore, no additional language configuration is needed.
