Recent Nuance Healthcare Innovations
One of Nuance’s Healthcare’s most exciting initiatives is its joint research effort with IBM to integrate IBM’s Watson and Nuance’s voice and CLU solutions to provide enhanced access to critical and timely information. Under this agreement, IBM and Nuance will jointly invest in a multi-year research initiative targeted to the applications of the Watson technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in combination with Nuance’s voice and CLU solutions.
Most recently, the Nuance Healthcare team has partnered with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) as part of a multi-year innovation collaboration, in which the two industry leaders will develop Medical Intelligence solutions as a means to transform the way patient information is captured, understood and used by caregivers.
