What does the registration fee include? |

The registration fee includes participation in all conference sessions and keynotes, all meals and evening networking events, and admittance to the Solution Showcase. Accommodations are not included in the registration fee.

Is there an 'early registration' discount? |

Yes. If you register on or before March 1, 2007, the registration fee is 550. After March 1, 2007, the registration fee is 650.

Is there a deadline for registration? |

The final deadline for all registrations is April 16, 2007 although places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis so registration may close earlier in the event of oversubscription.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration? |

A confirmation will be automatically emailed to you once you submit your completed registration. You will receive an official invoice within 1 month after your registration.

What hotel accommodations are available to conference attendees? |

Nuance has arranged for accommodation for Conversations Europe 2007 attendees on site at the conference venue, the Carlton InterContinental. The Conversations Europe automotive track attendees will be staying a short walk away at the Majestic Barriere.

Please book your accommodation on our registration site. A room block has been designated for Conversations attendees at a group rate of 200 per night for single use including breakfast. The rate for double use is 235. Your credit card details will be taken as guarantee for the hotel. I am attending the Automotive Track. How should I arrange for accommodations at the Majestic Barriere? |

Please indicate that you will be part of the automotive track while registering for the conference and book your accommodation on our registration site. A room block has been designated for Conversations attendees at a group rate of 217 per night for single use including breakfast. The rate for double use is 254. Your credit card details will be taken as guarantee for the hotel. The separate entry of the credit card details in Worldpay were taken for payment purposes of the delegate fee. What is the cancellation policy for my hotel booking? |

Between 90 and 31 days prior to arrival, in case of total or partial cancellation, 60% of the stay ; between 30 and 8 days prior to arrival, in case of total or partial cancellation, 80% of the stay ; from 8 days prior to arrival, in case of total or partial cancellation and No shows , 100% of the stay.

Which airport should I fly into? |

Nice International Airport (NCE) is the closest airport to Cannes, and is approximately 30 minutes away from Cannes.

How to get to the conference venue and back to the airport? |

It is a 60 - 70 taxi journey ( 70 80 between 7 pm and 7 am). Airport shuttles busses (#210) leave for Cannes every 30 minutes departing from Terminal 1 & 2 platform 3 and cost 13, 70 (one way) and 22,50 (return). Nuance will offer shuttle busses on April 26 after the conference to the airport. Please reserve your seat in one of the shuttles when registering.

Are registration substitutions allowed? |

Substitutions are allowed, however, this must be done in writing with approval from the original registrant whom you plan to substitute. This policy is in place because there is a payment associated with registration. Please submit all substitution requests to vanessa.richter@nuance.com.

What if I need to cancel my registration? Are there any penalties? |

|
If for some reason you need to cancel your registration to Conversations Europe 2007, you can do this through the event system. Refunds are processed manually and must be approved by Nuance. Please note that the cancellation policy allows for a full refund if your request is received by March 1st, 2007. After March 1st, 2007 you will still receive a refund, MINUS a 150 processing fee. Can I bring a guest? What functions are guests invited to attend? |

You may certainly bring a spouse or significant other to share in the beauty and elegance of Cannes. The additional registration fee of 150 allows your guest to attend all evening functions. The negotiated InterContinental Carlton hotel rate for a double room is 235 per night, and includes breakfast. In the Majestic Barriere its 254 per night. **Please note - Guests cannot be a colleague or someone from the same company. They are defined as significant others, spouses, etc.

What is the weather like in Cannes during the month of April? |

Temperature can vary between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. But it does get cooler in the evening and we will have activities outside so make sure to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Do I need to wear my badge? |

You can pick up your conference badge at the registration desk upon arrival or before the Opening Keynotes. Please wear your badge to all group functions and meetings so that you can be easily identified as an attendee of Conversations Europe. A badge will also be provided for your guest should you decide bring one.
