The following fixes are available in Boomerang Enterprise Edition 3.0.85 since version 3.0.82:
- PowerMic button anomaly where file position indicator is incorrect after momentarily tapping the PowerMic Play button
- Application GUI (graphical user interface) issues with the display state accuracy and function of the Record, Play and Cue buttons
- Insert mode anomaly transitioning from Insert mode back to Overwrite mode
- Dictation AutoRecovery feature issue where under certain conditions the file encoding changes making playback unintelligible
Caution: Uninstall any previous versions of Boomerang software using Add/Remove Programs before installing this version.
Note: The Boomerang Enterprise Edition will NOT work with Windows Messaging
file delivery, and is NOT an upgrade for the legacy Boomerang Mail Edition
application. This software will only work in conjunction with the Dictaphone

EVA monitors a specific directory for voice files that were created or downloaded by the dictation clients, and transports them to the Dictaphone Enterprise Express Server.
EVA version 1.1.33 incorporates all previous enhancements and fixes including:
checking the archive bit for wave files, clearing a locked file condition,
and the removal of the legacy Voicer application.

These Quick Tours will give you an opportunity to learn how to use Boomerang. If you have Boomerang Version 2.0.23 or higher, the Quick Tours were installed on your PC when you installed Boomerang.
If you are a Version 2.0.17 or 2.0.22 user, you do not have the Quick Tours
installed on your PC. In order to run the Quick Tours, first download and
install Boomerang Service Pack 6 and then download and install the Boomerang
Quick Tours.
Installing the Quick Tours After downloading the Quick
Tours, double-click on quicktours.exe. Follow the instructions that are given
at the start of the installation |

| Use this download if you are missing or need to update software drivers or hardware drivers for Boomerang related products. This download is a self-extracting ZIP file that includes support for audio drivers (wave format), Boomerang sound card drivers, USB footpedal drivers, and USB hand microphone adapter drivers. In the WAVEFORMAT folder, there is a setup file that will auto install the Deltawave and OKI ADPCM CODECs. All the other drivers are to be used with the driver installation wizard of the Windows operating system that you are using.
Extracting the Boomerang Drivers After downloading the
DRIVERS.EXE file:
- Double-click on the DRIVERS.EXE file. You will see the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box.
- Type in the name of the folder where you want to extract the driver files. If you type the name of a folder that doesn’t exist on your computer, a new folder is created. Important: Be sure to make a note of this location. You will need this information when you install the drivers.
- Click Unzip. The driver files are extracted and stored in the folder you specified, and you will see a successful completion message.
- Click OK.
- Close the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box.
