With the eCopy Connector for Xerox® DocuShare, users can scan hardcopy documents to the DocuShare enterprise content management (ECM) system – directly from any eCopy ShareScan®–enabled multifunction printer (MFP) or network scanner – for secure information storage, retrieval and collaboration. This dynamic, real-time connection lets MFP users send scanned documents to the same DocuShare Workspaces and Collections available from their desktops. And because it streamlines the process of putting paper-based data into DocuShare workflows, users spend less time scanning and more time focusing on real work.

eCopy ShareScan's intuitive push-button interface takes the guesswork out of scanning so users get the job done right the first time. eCopy's OminiPage® OCR (Optical Recognition Engine) delivers unparalleled recognition accuracy, turning static images into searchable documents that look the same as – or better than – the originals. Support for Favorite Workspaces and Collections gives users a personalized experience at the MFP or network scanning, allowing them scan documents to frequently access DocuShare locations with a few button presses. Time-saving features like field auto-population and type-ahead intelligence facilitate proper indexing so authorized DocuShare users can find the stored information they need quickly and easily.
