Scan directly from your multifunction device to cases in the Summation legal software application. The embedded Breeze Summation Connector for eCopy™ enables you to batch process hard copy documents and automatically load them into Summation cases, eliminating the additional steps of creating a load file and importing it into the Summation database.

With the Summation Connector you can insert barcode break sheets in documents for batch, performing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in batch, and electronically Bates stamping the images — all prior to loading into Summation database. At last, you can in-source the eDiscovery aspects of document preparation typically performed by a service bureau, allowing your firm to capture additional revenue.

The Breeze Summation Connector for eCopy is installed on the eCopy Scan Station or your eCopy-enabled multifunction device. After documents are imaged through eCopy, the Connector “connects” the ScanStation or multifunction device to your Summation server to load the scans directly into the database.
