DigitalOne Document Management Connector for eCopy ShareScan

With the DigitalOne DM Connector, hardcopy medical records can be quickly converted into digital files for storage & access from DigitalOne. Document indexing information, along with workflows relevant to that particular document type, can be selected from the MFP using this Connector. Documents received by DigitalOne are filed using relevant indexing information. If a workflow is selected at the MFP, it is triggered automatically by DigitalOne.

Example: An employee could walk over to the MFP, authenticate themselves, and scan in their expense report. They provide the following index information for the expense report – “week ending” and “total”. Once the document is submitted to DigitalOne, “Expense Report Workflow”, which is the default workflow for a document of type “Expense Report”, is fired off and alerts the manager or AP for approval, depending on how workflows are configured.
