With the Document Locator Connector for eCopy ShareScan, any eCopy-enabled copier or scanner can be used to securely scan paper documents directly into Document Locator repository folders. Using the eCopy connector, users can designate destination folders, document properties (indexing), & scanning options. Scanned documents are full-text indexed & are available for retrieval using Document Locator's search functions. User authentication ensures access only by authorized personnel and only to authorized repository locations.

For repetitive scanning operations, the Document Locator Connector for ShareScan can be configured for "one-button" scanning. For example, a single touch-screen button could be created to scan and store invoices into an "invoices" repository folder structure. Document Locator Workflow can then automate subsequent document processing. Document Locator also works with eCopy PaperWorks to view, annotate, or change scanned documents.
