With the touch of a button, using Fortis Connector for eCopy™ ShareScan®, multifunctional device users can capture documents with eCopy’s ShareScan and send it to Westbrook Fortis content management software. The connector leverages the open architecture of Fortis for seamless connectivity, allowing eCopy ShareScan users with an eCopy-enabled multifunction printer to send scanned documents effortlessly to their Fortis database.

On the front end, Fortis Connector for eCopy ShareScan captures and transforms full-color or black and white paper documents into electronic images extending the capabilities of a digital copier or scanner. With Fortis Connector for eCopy ShareScan, users simply select the “Send to Fortis” button on the eCopy touch panel, and scanned images are passed to Fortis. Once inside the Fortis database, users can store and securely retrieve all their business documents in seconds making information decisions based on the latest, comprehensive data.

Scanning from the office copier or scanner that connects directly to an organization’s email, fax, content management systems and other networked enterprise applications is a low-cost, easy and instantaneous way to distribute and manage digital copies of paper documents.
