Hard copy documents are quickly converted into digital files to be stored in the document management system’s content repositories. Document indexing information and any document management system specific attributes are input at the copier and sent directly to the specified location within the repository for storage and retrieval by authorized users.

The eCopy Connector for Ricoh’s DocumentMall supports both on-line and off-line processing, providing a fault-tolerant user experience. If the internet connection to DocumentMall is not available, images and index information will be cached locally and uploaded when the internet connection is available. Hence, the on-line availability of DocumentMall is transparent to the user of our Connector.
