September 2010. Viecore FSD recently won a contract with CACI, Inc. as part of the Department of Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Common User Interface (JCUI) Program. Viecore FSD is a subcontractor to CACI on this Program. The contract is valued in total more than $10M over 5-years.
Our Team solution to DISA included development of a social networking-enabled, integrated project management, developer, and, optionally, marketplace environment. This cloud-based solution will link the three primary components and participants of the JCUI effort. Groups will be stood up for each sprint with linked topics referencing requirements, test results, and user feedback. Developer tools and sandboxes will be available for code reuse, development, and innovation.
The DISA JCUI includes development of C2 widgets upon an NCES-specified widget framework, and other infrastructure. Our Viecore FSD Team is ideally suited to perform this task. Viecore FSD has developed a number of C2 widgets for 4ID, which are available on SIPRNet. 4ID will deploy to Theater with these widgets. Viecore FSD has developed these C2 widgets on two different frameworks: Google and Ozone. Viecore's detailed understanding of widget technology has led to the development of a Gadget container for Ozone widgets and a widget container for Google Gadgets. Viecore FSD's technology allows one type of widget to run in another widget's native framework. Our team brings this expertise and innovation to DISA's JCUI effort.
