Having used most versions of PaperPort over the years since receiving my first copy; ver. 2, as bundled software with the purchase of a scanner, PaperPort has become my most mission critical software for document management. I was told in 1971 when going to work for 3M business products that paper in the office would be a thing of the past in less than 5 years, a revolutionary prediction at that time, however, many are aware of the success of Xerox in the copier industry, causing this enlightened prophecy to falter over the succeeding years.
