| How do I download Narrator? |
After purchasing Narrator you will be given instructions on how to download and install Narrator on your phone.
If you deleted Narrator and need to redownload the application on to your phone go to:
https://www.handango.com/GoPass.jsp?siteId=1
Log into your Handango Profile and then click on "Purchase History" -> "Narrator"

| TCP settings |
Before you can use Narrator you need to setup the TCP settings.
You will get the error message: "error:java.IOException: open tunnel – failure" if the TCP settings are not correct.
Go to: Options->Advanced Options->TCP and fill in:
Rogers:
APN: internet.com
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Cingular:
APN: wap.cingular
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (Must be UPPER CASE LETTERS)
Password: CINGULAR1 (Must be UPPER CASE LETTERS)
T-Mobile:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: Leave Blank
Password: Leave Blank
Edge Wireless:
APN: isp
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank

| How do I change settings on Narrator? |
- Turning Narrator On/Off - Locate the Narrator icon on the blackberry main menu. Click on the icon will turn it on and off.
- You can change Narrator settings by going to options -> Narrator by Nuance VoiceControl
- Volume – Controls the volume of the Narrator Voice
- Select a Voice – Select the Voice you want to hear reading the email.
- Select Mode – You option to pick which part of the email you want read.
- Sender & Subject Only
- Sender, Subject and Short Body
- All Fields
- Activation Key: After purchasing Narrator you may be given a pass key.

| How do I uninstall Narrator |
Go to: Options->Advanced Options->Applications->Narrator. Click on the blackberry button between the green talk button and the pearl ball. Then select delete.

| Error message |
Warnings were encountered during the loading process. The following modules could not be loaded because their digital signatures were invalid. com_MobileVoiceControl_Narrator.cod
- Make sure you are on a Blackberry Pearl.
- If you get the above error message your BES administrator is blocking third party applications from being installed on your phone. You need to contact your BES administrator and have him allow third party applications.

The problem is that you are missing the Service Book "IPPP for BIBS [IPPP]"
Go to: Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table. In the HRT Editor Screen push the track wheel in and select "Register Now". Try again.
If that doesn't fix your problem you need to call up your service provider and have them resend your "IPPP Service Book Entry"

- Blackberry Pearl with version 4.2.0.0 or higher of handheld Operating System.
- Blackberry Pearl with data service.
- Blackberry Pearl with an Email address on it.
- Currently, this is a U.S. English version.
