What does the registration fee include? |

The registration fee includes participation in all conference sessions and keynotes, all meals and evening networking events, admittance to the Partner Showcase and a choice of activity on Tuesday afternoon. Accommodations are not included in the registration fee.

Is there an 'early registration' discount? |

Yes. If you register on or before September 6, 2005, the registration fee is $900. After September 6, 2005, the registration fee is $1100.

Is there a deadline for registration? |

The final deadline for all registrations is October 17th, 2005.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration? |

A confirmation will be automatically emailed to you once you submit your completed registration. A separate payment confirmation will be sent within 48 hours. This will also serve as your invoice and receipt of payment.

An acknowledgement of your confirmation for housing will be sent directly from the hotel.

Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

What are the dates for the hotel room block at the discounted rate? |

The hotel will extend the conference rate from Friday, October 21st. 2005 through Wednesday, October 26, 2005, however a very limited number of rooms are available on Wednesday night. Our conference ends at 12noon. Which airport should I fly into? |

The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the closest airport to the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. It is about a $45 cab ride and approximately 25 -35 minutes away. There is also a Super Shuttle available at the airport for $18. http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/phx.htm

Are registration substitutions allowed? |

Substitutions are allowed, however, this must be done in writing with approval from the original registrant whom you plan to substitute. This policy is in place because there is a payment associated with registration. Please submit all substitution requests to erin.keleher@nuance.com. You may call Erin directly at 781.565.5000.

What if I need to cancel my registration? Are there any penalties? |

|
If for some reason you need to cancel your registration to Conversations 2005, please send an email to erin.keleher@nuance.com and be sure to include your full name and company used in the original registration. Please note that the cancellation policy allows for a full refund if your request is received by August 31th, 2005. After August 31, 2005 you will still receive a refund, MINUS a $250 processing fee.

Can I bring a guest? What functions are guests invited to attend? |

You may certainly bring a spouse or significant other to share in the beauty and elegance of the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort.
The additional guest cost of $300 allows your guest to attend all evening functions and Tuesday activities. **Please note - Guests cannot be a colleague or someone from the same company. They are defined as significant others, spouses, etc.

Business casual or 'resort casual' attire is appropriate for the conference and all evening functions. - add activity attire? (Golf should have a polo shirt, hummer ride/jeep rally - no sandals or open toe shoes, Cattle ride - pants?

What is the weather like in Phoenix during the month of October? |

The temperature in October in Phoenix can be anywhere between 60 (F) or 15 (C) to 85 (F) or 30(C).
It does get cool in the evening and we will have activities outside so make sure to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Do I need to wear my badge? |

You can pick up your conference badge at the Conversations registration desk upon arrival or before the Opening Night Cocktail Reception and Dinner event. Please wear your badge to all group functions and meetings so that you can be easily identified as an attendee of Conversations 2005. A badge will also be provided for your guest should you decide bring one.
