(Nasdaq: SSFT), the leading provider of digital imaging software, today announced the availability of Pagis Pro Millennium Scanning Suite, which includes support for Hewlett Packard JetSend, Windows 2000 and Live Updates, as well as the latest TextBridge Pro Millennium OCR and Kai's PhotoSoap2 image editing applications.

For the first time ever, Pagis Pro Millennium incorporates JetSend technology, a device-to-device communications protocol developed by Hewlett Packard. JetSend is an open standard which allows two devices to connect, negotiate the best possible data type, provide device status, and exchange information, without user intervention. JetSend-enabled devices include scanners, printers, digital cameras, Windows CE hand-held PCs, and now Pagis Pro Millennium as the software solution to do more with digital documents.

That same information can then be dragged and dropped on the JetSend icon and sent to any JetSend-enabled device, making Pagis Pro Millennium the first truly "Wireless Inbox" for the organization, manipulation and exchange of digital images. New additions to Pagis Pro Millennium Scanning Suite are full versions of ScanSoft's newly announced TextBridge Pro Millennium and Kai's PhotoSoap2. Also new in this release is ScanSoft's new "Live Updates" technology, a seamlessly integrated feature that delivers updates, such as service packs, directly to users' desktops via the Internet.

Pagis Forms Fill-In allows users to simply scan in a form, tab and type. Alleviates the need for a typewriter or filling in by hand.
Pagis Copier makes color copies using a scanner and color printer, saving users a trip to the copy machine.
