SIIA Selects ScanSoft OmniForm Premium 5.0 as Finalist for the 17th Annual Codie Awards

ScanSoft eForm solution outpaces the competition; Finalist honor handed to OmniForm from among 325 companies and 700 products

(Nasdaq: SSFT), a leading supplier of imaging, speech and language solutions, announced today that OmniForm® Premium 5.0 has been selected as a finalist in the Best Internet Business Service category for the prestigious Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 2002 Codie Awards. OmniForm was selected by a judging panel selected by the SIIA, who considered submissions made by more than 325 companies for over 700 products. The judging panel consisted of representatives from the software and information industry trade press, mainstream technology writers and experts in education technology.
