Nuance’s Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions Division Recognizes Strategic Partners at Value-Added Reseller Healthcare Summit

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical Certified Resellers Honored at First Annual Event

BURLINGTON, Mass., January 28, 2008 – Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN), a leading supplier of speech solutions, is today announcing the continued success of its Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical certified value-added reseller (VAR) partners. Nuance’s Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions division honored its top VARs for strength in their regional territories and high quality of service at its First Annual VAR Healthcare Summit earlier this month at its headquarters in Burlington, Mass. At the Summit, Nuance presented awards to six of its 180 outstanding VARs. Thirty-six of Nuance’s partners are gold certified, including all of the partners that received awards at the event. In 2007 these Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical VARs provided a suite of comprehensive services to Dragon customers, including consulting, pre- and post-sales support, customization, training and technical services. Recipients of Nuance’s VAR awards include:
