Help us improve Dragon

You can help Nuance researchers improve future releases of Dragon by enabling Data Collection when you create your user profile. Data Collection collects up to 500 MB of dictation data and text from your dictation sessions for research purposes. No personal information is ever sent to Nuance, and participation is completely voluntary. You can opt in or out this program during user profile setup, or at any time.

Option Description
Send my usage data

Enables Data Collection. You can either use the default schedule setting, or schedule it to run at a time that's most convenient for you. Dragon's default time is a randomly chosen time in the early morning hours that typically won't interfere with your computer usage or impact Nuance's server loads.

You'll need to close Dragon before the process starts and leave your computer powered on during the time the task is scheduled. Dragon cannot run data collection when Dragon is open or is your computer is powered off.
Do not send my usage data but remind me about it later One week after installation, Dragon asks you to review the Data Collection setting for your user profile.
Do not send my usage data Dragon excludes you from the Data Collection program.
