Overview

Using today’s technology, a user can easily upload a complete address book with hundreds of contacts. Voice-activated dialling allows the user to simply say the name of the contact and be connected in a matter of seconds, without the need to enrol or navigate through complicated menus. SpeechPAK Free mode combines this basic function with audio feedback to provide a completely hands-free / eyes-free solution that can be used in any situation where the user needs to focus other tasks but want to remain connected and productive. Free Mode also includes features such as in-caller announcement, automatic SMS reading and the access to status information. VAD and text to speech are increasingly a requirement in carrier handset specifications.

SpeechPAK VAD & Free Mode are powered by Nuance’s embedded technologies VoCon Mobile and RealSpeak Mobile.
