Configuration

The fields on the Configuration Screen work as follows:

  • Verify e-mails = If checked, the email screen will appear after a recognition of email. If unchecked emails will be sent automatically without user review.
  • Verify Appointments = If checked, the appointment screen will appear after a recognition of a calendar entry. If unchecked appointments will be sent automatically without user review.
  • Verify all other control types = If checked all requests other than appointments and emails will be displayed for review. If unchecked, items are only displayed for review when recognition is of a low confidence.
  • On a BES = Check this item only if you are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Only check this box if your BES administrator has approved connectivity of third party applications. See our website under support-> BES Users for more details.
  • Device Phone # = The phone number of the device. This number is used to dial your VoiceMail when you say the VoiceMail command.
  • Pass key = This field is where the user fills in the the license key for the application. The license key is supplied by the retail store or partner through which the application was purchased.
Advanced Configuration

The Advanced Screen should only be used when Nuance Voice Control Support Requests you to change something.

  • Reset first time data button = Used to rebuild the local contact list database entries.
  • Resend data without rebuilding = Sends new contacts you recently added to your contact list.
  • Hidden URL: In the advance screen highlight the save button. Type "URL". Then click back. (Don't click the save button). Go back into the "Advance Screen". You should now see "Connection URL". The URL should say: URL = socket://207.250.88.67:80;deviceside=true
