Import list of words or phrases dialog box

Tools>Vocabulary Center>Import list of words and phrases

Use the Import list of words or phrases wizard if you want to add multiple-word phrases to your Vocabulary. You should do this because the Import list of words or phrases wizard adds words from documents as phrases, not single words.

Use this dialog box to preview the list of unknown words before Dragon adds them to your vocabulary.

Option	Description
Preview the list of unknown words	If selected, a preview of the words and phrases to import appears, where you can choose the words to include or exclude. If deselected, Dragon adds all words from the file.

Step 1: Add Word Lists

Select word lists for analysis. The Import wizard determines which words are not in your current vocabulary.

Option	Description
Add File	Click to select a file to add. The Import wizard imports words from this file.
Remove File	Click to remove a selected file from the list.
View File	Click to open a selected file in the application where it was created.

Step 2: File Analysis

This process analyzes the documents you selected.

The progress bar indicates how much of the current file has been analyzed.

Step 3: Add Words

Use this page to view the words that are not in your current vocabulary and select the words to add.

Option	Description
Word	If selected, Dragon adds the word to your current vocabulary. If deselected, Dragon excludes the word. Default value: Deselected
Check All	Click to select all words.
Uncheck All	Click to deselect all words.
Edit	Click to edit the spoken or written form of a word.

Step 4: Train Words

Select the words to train so Dragon can better recognize your words during dictation. This step is optional.

Option	Description
Words	Click to select words to train.
Check All	Click to select all words in the list.
Uncheck All	Click to deselect all words in the list.
Train	Click to train the selected words.

Step 5: Summary

This page provides information on the newly built language model, including:

• The number of new words the wizard found when it analyzed the documents.
• The number words that Dragon added to your vocabulary.
