Administrative Settings dialog box—Roaming User Network Location

Settings>Administrative Settings>Roaming tab>Add button

Use the Administrative Settings dialog box—Roaming User Network Location dialog box to define the network location of the Master Roaming user profiles. The location you select must be accessible to all computers where users dictate using a roaming user profile.

Option Description

Display Name

Specifies the directory name displayed in the following locations:

  • Administrative Settings dialog box—Roaming tab

Address

Location of the master roaming user profile. Supports the following address types:

  • Mapped drives—Specify the mapped drive address, or click Browse to navigate to it.
  • UNC paths—Specify the UNC path in the format \\servername\sharename\path\filename, or click Browse to navigate to it.
  • Intranet/Internet connections—Specify the URL address of your HTTP or HTTPS server, and then click HTTP Settings or SSL settings to specify connection information.
