About |
A user profile is a set of files that Dragon uses to process what you say. Your user profile stores information, like the type of microphone you use and your custom words. |
About transcription user profiles |
A transcription user profile is a profile with limited functionality that you use for transcribing recordings of another person's speech, like a lecturer or a field inspector. |
About default user profiles |
A default user profile is a profile that Dragon loads by default each time it starts. This applies only when you have multiple user profiles. |

User profiles store important data. To avoid loss or corruption, you should back up your user profile manually or automatically on a regular basis.
