Known issues
Running the V14 Dragon Client Runtime with V15 Dragon Professional (Individual, Group) is not supported DRGNM-4150
You use the dgnsvc product activation to switch between a V14 installation and the V14 Client SDK runtime when they are installed on the same system.
To switch between a V15 Professional installation and the V14 Client SDK runtime when they are installed on the same system, you would need to re-run/re-register spchapi each time you want to switch to the V14 runtime.
You can download the executable here: http://supportcontent.nuance.com/kbfiles/4280-spchapi.exe
.m4a files not transcribed in some editionsDRGNM-4036
Version 14 Professional Individual (first release – 14.00.000.180) or V14 Professional Group cannot transcribe .m4a files – this functionality was implemented after these products shipped.
The Version 14 Professional Individual re-release (14.00.000.416) , the SDK runtime and Dragon 15 do support this file format.
Using Version 15 of Professional Individual (English or German) as the runtime client DRGNM-3616
Some audio files (of any supported file format) may not be transcribed when using Version 15 Professional Individual (English or German) as a runtime with the V14 R2 SDK.
These work fine with V14 , the supplied V14 Client runtime and any Versions of V15 products released in the future.
Note: Dragon 15 no longer supports the 11 kHz wav file format. Audio files use in V15 need to have a sampling rate of at least 16 hhz.
Programming PowerMic buttons not supported DRGNM-4211
Programming PowerMic buttons to take actions other than their standard actions is not supported in the Dragon Professional SDK Client Edition 14 R2 Dragon Client Runtime. In addition, he PowerMic button feature in the dictcust sample has been removed.
However, these functions are supported in the Dragon Group V14 and V15 releases.
