About the Dragon Web Extension

The Dragon Web Extension is a browser extension that you install to enable:

  • Commands that allow you to click Web page objects, like buttons and links, by voice.
  • Full Text Control in most Web page fields and in Web applications.

Without the extension installed, you'll need to use your mouse and keyboard to click Web page objects. You might also need to use the Dictation Box to dictate text into fields and Web applications.

Tutorial: Why did a text box pop up when I spoke?

Browser requirements
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9, 10, and 11, 32-bit or 64-bit
  • Mozilla Firefox version 24 or later
  • Google Chrome, latest version
Mode support

Dragon Web Extension feature support is not available in the following modes:

  • Firefox Metro mode
  • Chrome Metro mode
  • Chrome Incognito mode
