MyCommands—Name Editor dialog box

Use the MyCommands Name Editor dialog box to include variables in a custom command's name.

Option Description

MyCommand Name

Specify a name for the command you want to create, or edit the command name that appeared in the My Commands Editor dialog box.

A command name can have no more than 200 characters and can contain spaces, periods, apostrophes, hyphens, numbers, and letters. A command name cannot contain other symbols, such as *, @, #, $, %, or the underscore character.

Note: You can create multiple commands with the same name only if the commands are specific to a certain window within an application. For example, although you can open multiple documents in separate windows in Microsoft Word, if you try to create more than one command with the same name for that program, Dragon tells you that there is already a command with that name.

Insert List

Click to open the Insert List dialog box, which displays existing lists, such as <1to10> <dirleftright>. Use this dialog box to select, insert, or remove a list.

Note: If your edition of Dragon supports open-ended custom commands, <dictation> is one of the selections.

Edit

Click to open the View List dialog box. Use this dialog box to view and edit the contents of a selected list in the Lists used in this command box.
