Additional PowerMic Options

Use this window to customize additional buttons on your PowerMic III.

Choose a behavior type

By default, all buttons are set to behave like a mouse or touchpad.

Assign to a command

To assign a button to perform one of the same commands available for the other PowerMic buttons, click the Mouse Action check box for that button to clear it (unselect it). This enables the Global and Dictation Box menus for that button, where you can select the command you want the button to perform for each of those uses. Enable Mouse Action

When you select the Mouse Action check box for a button, it behaves as described below. Note that you can't change a button's mouse action; you can only enable or disable it. In addition, you can't set different mouse actions for use in the Dictation Box.

Setting name	Button	Behavior
Mouse Left or Touchpad press		Same as if you clicked the left button on a mouse. Both buttons are enabled or disabled with this check box.
Mouse Right		Same as if you clicked the right button on a mouse. Typically, this produces a context menu.
Trigger (underneath)		Same as if you clicked the left button on a mouse. This is the button found on the back of the PowerMic.

Enable Touchpad swipe

When this check box is selected, you can use the PowerMic Track-Point button (PowerMic II) or the PowerMic Touchpad button (PowerMic III) to move your cursor.

Restore default settings

To reset all items to their default settings, click Restore defaults. Your settings are restored to the default settings for the Dragon client.

Save your changes

Click OK to save your changes and return to the PowerMic page.
