Enabling the Roaming feature
The Acoustic and Language Model Optimizer is disabled on users' machines when you enable Roaming. You must schedule Accuracy Tuning on the Master Roaming user profile network storage location, or from an administrator's computer using the Acoustic and Language Optimizer Scheduler. For more information, see Scheduling Accuracy Tuning for Roaming users.
This topic only describes enabling the Roaming option. For Roaming feature requirements and full setup information, see Roaming feature setup checklist.

From the DragonBar, select Settings>Administrative Settings.

Click Proceed.
A Windows User Account Control prompt appears.

Click Yes.
The Administrative SettingsāRoaming tab appears.

Select the Enable option.

Click Add.
The Roaming User Network Location dialog box opens.

Specify the Display Name for the Master Roaming user profile directory and the Network Address.
This is the location you created for Roaming prerequisites. You can have multiple storage locations.
If your Master Roaming user profiles are stored on a Web server, do the following:

Click one of the following in the Roaming User Network Location dialog box:
- HTTP Settings if the Web server uses HTTP connections.
- SSL Settings if the Web server uses HTTP with SSL connections.

Specify the settings.
For information on the settings, click Help.

Click the Test Connection button in either dialog box to test the connection.

- Click OK.
To disable the Roaming feature:

From the DragonBar, select Settings>Administrative Settings.

Click Proceed.
A Windows User Account Control prompt appears.

Click Yes.
The Administrative SettingsāRoaming tab appears.

Deselect the Enable option.
- Click OK.
