DragonPad Settings dialog box—Text and Rich Text tabs

Tools>DragonPad>View menu>Settings>Text tab or Rich Text tab

Use the Text and Rich Text tabs to specify word wrap options and the toolbars that are displayed for text or rich text documents. Text documents include text with no formatting. Rich text format (RTF) documents can include formatting information. You specify these document types when you save documents.

The Text tab settings take effect only when the current document in the Dragon window is a text document. The Rich Text tab settings take effect only when the current document in the Dragon window is a rich text format (RTF) document.

Option Description

Word wrap

Word wrap type. The options are:

  • No wrap—Text does not wrap to the next line regardless of how the paragraph is formatted.
  • Wrap to window—Text wraps to the next line when it reaches the sides of the window. Does not affect how the text looks when printed.
  • Wrap to ruler—Text wraps to the next line when it reaches the margins of the page.

Wrapping options affect only how text appears on your screen. When printed, the document uses the margin settings specified in Page Setup.

Toolbars

Indicates the toolbars that appear. The options are:

  • Toolbar
  • Format Bar
  • Ruler
  • Status Bar
