If Dragon can't export a vocabulary associated with a Roaming user profile

Use this procedure if you try to export a new vocabulary associated with a Roaming user profile and Dragon displays an error message that the vocabulary could not be exported. You'll need to open the associated user profile with Roaming user profiles turned off and then save it.

To save a Master Roaming user profile for export with a new vocabulary

  1. To turn off the Roaming user profile option, from the DragonBar, select Settings>Administrative Settings. If Windows displays a User Account Control warning, click Yes.
  2. In the Administrative Settings - Roaming tab, disable the Roaming User Profile setting, and click OK.
  3. From the DragonBar, select Settings>Profile>Open User Profile.
  4. Click Browse in the Open User Profile dialog boxs.
  5. Browse to the Enterprise Profile Management network folder where the Master user profile you need to save is stored, and then click OK. The Open User Profile dialog box displays the Roaming user profile and the profile location.
  6. Select the Master Roaming user profile, and then click Open.
  7. Save the user profile.
