About the Dictation Box

The Dictation Box is an optional window that gives you the benefits of Full Text Control where it is not possible directly, such as in a PowerPoint slide or Google Docs. You dictate and edit text in the box, and then transfer it to a document or field.

You can move the Dictation box, adjust its size, and change its appearance and behavior. For more information see Dictation Box settings

When it appears

If you typically use Dragon without much editing, consider opening the Dictation Box manually only when you need it by selecting Tools>Dictation Box from the DragonBar.

You can also open it by saying "Open Dictation Box".
