If Dragon displays an error message

Do the following when Dragon displays an error message.

Read the message carefully. The error message may give you enough information to determine what to do.
Copy the error message. Copy the error message log file (Dragon.log) to a safe place. Technical Support may ask you to send this file for investigation. To locate this file, open the Windows Start menu, and then select All Programs or All Apps>Dragon>Show Dragon Log. This file is located in
C:\ProgramData\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking15\logs\<user_name> by default.
Save your document. If you dictated text into your document, click Close to close the error message box and then save your document.
Don't save your user profile. To avoid corrupting your user profile, don't save any changes Dragon made to your user profile.
Exit Dragon and then start it again. In some cases, it may be necessary to restart your computer.
Repair your Dragon installation. Insert your Dragon disk into your DVD drive, run the installation program again, and then choose the Repair option on the first screen of the Dragon setup program. After setup finishes, reinstall any Dragon patches that were previously installed.
Adjust the "Speed vs. Accuracy" setting. If the "Recognizer has encountered an utterance that is too long to process" error occurs, try setting the Speed vs. Accuracy slider more towards Fastest Response on the Options dialog box—Miscellaneous page.
