Recognition History dialog box

Tools>Accuracy Center>Recognition History

The Recognition History dialog box displays your utterances during the current dictation session. Recognition History may be useful if you need to contact Nuance Technical Support.

Dragon generates Recognition History data during each Dragon dictation session, but does not save the data automatically. You must use the procedure below to save data for a current dictation session before you close Dragon.

Note: You cannot correct recognition errors in this dialog box.

Option Description

Utterance

Text of your utterance.

When Dragon does not recognize an utterance, <???> appears in this field.

Command

Indicates whether the utterance was a command.

Time

Time of dictation.

Warnings

If Dragon detects an issue with your sound quality, a warning appears next to the utterance where it occurred.

The following warnings may appear:

  • Low-quality audio/Poor signal: Appears when you are working in a very noisy environment or if there is a problem with microphone positioning or operation, or with your computer's sound card.
  • Bluetooth dropouts: Appears when your Bluetooth microphone battery is low or you have moved beyond the range of your device.
  • Signal Clipped: Appears when you are dictating too loudly or if there is a problem with microphone positioning or operation, or with your computer's sound card.

Saving Recognition History

  1. Click Save or Save with Details.... Clicking Save with Details includes any warnings you received.
  2. Specify the file location and file name, and then click Save.
