Selecting and deselecting text
When you select specific words and phrases:
- The Correction menu opens by default.
- Dragon searches your document from the cursor forward.
This topic describes Global Commands that you can use in any application.
When Full Text Control is unavailable, some of the following commands are not applicable. For more information, see About Full Text Control.
To select characters:Say one of the following:

To select punctuation:Say "Select" and then the punctuation. Example: "Select Comma" |

To select words:Say "Select <text>". Or Say one of the following:

To select a phrase or sentences:Say one of the following:

To select the next occurrence of words or phrases:Say "Select Again". Dragon selects the next forward occurrence of the last word or phrase you selected. |

To select lines:Say one of the following:

To select paragraphs:

To select all text in the document:Say "Select Document" or "Select All". |
