VoiceMode
The easy to use text input method that lets you enter text by saying what you want rather than having to use the keypad. With VoiceMode, you just press and hold a key and say what you want. When you release the key, you'll see your spoken words become text before your eyes! This is a speaker dependent application, therefore you will need to train it. Minimal training is 75 sentences. The tool is available in UK and US English.
Speech2Go
The Speech2Go reader automatically announces the caller ID for incoming calls and reads out your incoming text messages. Once the reader mode is turned on, it announces incoming calls either by name (if the name is in your address book) or by phone number. This allows you to screen your calls in situations where you don’t have ready access to your handset. Similarly, Speech2Go can automatically read out any new text message, keeping you informed and connected even when your handset is out of view.
Free 2 day trial demo.
Talks and Zooms
Talks is a screen reader, able to convert the display text of a cellular handset into highly intelligible speech, making the device completely accessible for blind and visually impaired people. Talks runs on Symbian-powered mobile phones to speech-enable contact names, callerID, text messages, help files and other screen content. Available in 20 languages.
Zooms is a screen magnifier. It magnifies the content of mobile handset displays and enables people with low vision to navigate through the screen and make use of all of their phone's functions. Zooms has the effect of holding a magnifying glass over a handset screen—but without any equipment required. Zooms in up to 250%.
Free demo. You can request a free 10-day license or contact your local dealer to try out the application for 30 days.
