Enabling the Roaming feature

When you enable Roaming and users attempt to open a different user profile, the Open User Profile dialog box displays only Roaming user profiles. To allow users to open either Roaming or non-Roaming user profiles, select the Allow non-Roaming User Profiles to be opened option in the Administrative Settings dialog box—Roaming tab. This also ensures that you can open non-Roaming user profiles to later convert them to Roaming user profiles.

The Acoustic and Language Model Optimizer is disabled on users' machines when you enable Roaming. You must schedule Accuracy Tuning on the Master Roaming user profile network storage location, or from an administrator's computer using the Acoustic and Language Optimizer Scheduler. For more information, see Scheduling Accuracy Tuning for Roaming users.
