Working with user profiles
A user profile is a set of files that Dragon uses to process what you say. Your user profile stores information, like the type of microphone you use, custom words, and vocabularies.
This topic describes non-Roaming user profiles. For information on working with Roaming user profiles, see Working with Roaming user profiles.
To upgrade your user profile:Nuance Management Center/NMS mode disabled (Standalone mode)If you upgraded manually from version 12, you must create a new user profile after upgrading. Dragon cannot upgrade your existing version 12 user profile. If you upgraded automatically, Dragon upgrades your user profiles the first time you open them after upgrading Dragon. If you chose not to upgrade your profiles, you can upgrade them later by selecting Dragon>Dragon Tools>Upgrade User Profiles (Windows 7) or Dragon>Upgrade User Profiles (Windows 8.1 and 10) from the Windows Start menu.
