Settings>Administrative Settings>NMS Settings tab

Use the NMS Settings tab to configure Nuance Management Center/NMS mode settings.

When you open this dialog box, Dragon must close your user profile. Dragon re-opens your user profile automatically when you close the dialog box.

Option Description

Enable NMS

If selected, enables Nuance Management Center/NMS mode. This allows your Dragon administrator to manage Dragon options, users, and licensing in the Nuance Management Center (NMC) console. This also allows each Dragon users' custom words, commands (Auto-Text, step-by-step, and advanced scripting commands only), command sets, and settings to be available on all computers where they log in to Dragon.

If deselected, disables Nuance Management Center/NMS mode. Your Dragon installation is in Standalone mode. Users can set their own options in the Dragon client, and create and manage their own custom words and commands.

Default value: Deselected

Server

Name of the Nuance Management Center (NMC) server. For example, nms.nuance.com.

Login options

Determines your login method. The options are:

  • Use Windows single sign-on—Use your Windows login and password.
  • Provide a login name and password—Use a login and password created by your system administrator.

Restore Defaults

Click to restore default values for settings on this tab.
