Changing your Dragon serial number

You change your serial number to switch to a different Dragon edition, like Dragon Legal. In Standalone mode, you change your serial number in the Dragon client. In NMS mode, you change your serial number and allocate the available licenses in the Nuance Management Console (NMC).

This topic describes changing your serial number in the Dragon client.

1. From the DragonBar, select Tools>Administrative Settings.

   A message appears, indicating that Dragon must close your user profile.

2. Click Proceed.

   The Administrative Settings dialog box appears.

3. Click the Miscellaneous tab.

4. Click the Change serial number button.

   The Change serial number dialog box appears.

5. Specify your serial number in the New serial number field.
6. Click OK.

To verify that your edition changed, re-open the Change serial number dialog box. Your current edition appears in the Old serial number field.
