The Manage User Profiles dialog box

DragonBar>Profile>Manage User Profiles

Use this dialog box to open, delete, or rename a user profile, or open the New User Profile wizard.

   
New Opens the New User Profile wizard for creating a new User Profile.
Properties Opens the User Properties dialog box, where you can view information about the selected user profile, including the language, dictation source, and speech model.
Rename Opens the Rename User dialog box to change the selected user profile's name.
Delete Deletes the selected user profile. You cannot delete the current user profile; to remove it, first close it or open a different user profile.
Advanced
  • Import—Allows you to locate and import a User Profile.
  • Export—Allows you to specify a location for exporting a selected user profile.
  • Copy to Roaming—Save the selected local user profile as a roaming user profile in the Master User Directory specified on the Administrative Settings dialog box. This option is only available when the Roaming feature is enabled on the Administrative Settings dialog box.
  • Backup—Backs up the selected user profile in the location specified in the Administrative Settings dialog box—Miscellaneous tab. The <default> backup location for all Dragon User Profiles is the Windows Documents folder. You can change the Backup location to any directory where Windows has both read and write permissions, including portable devices such as USB sticks and DVD/CD burners. By default, backups for all User Profiles are kept in the same folder.
  • Restore—Restores any backed up user profile. The restored user profile has the word "Restored" appended to it.
Close Closes the dialog box. This button does not undo anything you did while in this box.
Location of User Profile Use to select a new location for user profiles. Click the Browse button to select a new location if it is not shown on the list.
