Using and customizing the Dictation Box
Except in Web browsers, the Dictation Box opens automatically where Dragon doesn't have Full Text Control. It opens when you begin to speak and the Use the Dictation Box for unsupported applications option is selected on the Options dialog box—Miscellaneous page. You can optionally enable or disable this setting for specific applications.
If you typically use Dragon without much editing, consider opening the Dictation Box manually only when you need it by selecting Tools>Dictation Box from the DragonBar.
To open the Dictation Box:Place the insertion point where you want to dictate, or select text to edit, and then do one of the following:

To dictate and transfer text:

To close the Dictation Box:Click Cancel or say "Click Cancel". Dragon does not transfer any text in the Dictation Box. |
To move or re-size the Dictation Box:To move the Dictation Box, click and drag the title bar. To re-size the Dictation Box, click and drag the lower right corner. Dragon retains size changes specific to the application where you were dictating when you re-sized it. For more information, see About the Dictation Box |

To disable or enable the Dictation Box globally:

To disable or enable the automatic Dictation Box for a specific application:Open the application, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, then open the Dictation Box and select or deselect its check box. |
