As a result of our focused effort to deliver the best possible clinician experience, we have decided to discontinue SpeechMagic 8 and Dragon Medical Workflow Edition.

  • Reminder—as of December 31, 2022, SpeechMagic 7 (and earlier versions) is no longer available for sale or supported by Nuance.
  • After December 31, 2024, no additional licences will be available for purchase.
  • Maintenance and support will end on December 31, 2025.
  • The end of maintenance and support means that Nuance will no longer be making updates and upgrades to the products. This also means that Nuance will not be issuing security patches, fixes and updates that may arise. If your organization chooses to continue to use these solutions after the end of the maintenance and support date, you do so at your own risk; Nuance will not be responsible for any errors with the software, bugs, security incidents, data breaches, or other errors or omissions as a result.

Dragon Medical One and Dragon Medical SpeechKit offer significant benefits over locally installed speech recognition, including enriched functionality and a more robust speech experience. Dragon Medical One users can access their single voice profile through the cloud for anytime, anywhere dictation. Automatic updates ensure that customers always have the latest speech recognition engine and the most comprehensive product available—without the need for downtime.
